DOT FMCSA Alcohol/Drug Testing Services:

  • TN Occ Med Express offers breath and saliva alcohol tests, 5 panel and 10 panel drug tests.

  • All tests comply with, and exceed, Federal Government DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) rules & regulations for commercial motor vehicle drivers.

Results:

  • Confirmation of all test results is given to the employer as soon as the process is completed.

  • All tests will be processed in the most expedient manner possible.  Rapid results within 15min to 30min.  Lab tests take minimally 48hrs depending on transits and MRO review.

Consortium Services

  • The Department of Transportation (USDOT) requires all companies with CDL drivers to be enrolled in a random consortium if their GVW is over 26,000 lbs. or if they are operating a passenger vehicle that can transport 15 or more passengers.  Random testing is an important component of the USDOT’s effort to keep unsafe drivers off the road.

  • Our consortium is simply a group of trucking companies whose drivers are put into a pool for random drug and alcohol screening.  Each year 50% of the drivers are randomly tested for drugs and 10% are randomly tested for alcohol, as required by the USDOT regulations.

  • Trucking companies that are not in compliance with the USDOT random testing requirements can receive fines of several thousand dollars and will automatically fail the “new entrant safety audit”.

  • TN DOT PHYSICAL can provide your company with everything you need to stay in compliance with the USDOT Random Drug and Alcohol requirements, and keep your operating authority active.
